Laura Fitch
Associate Director
Laura just can’t keep away from rdsi. Having joined as a graduate trainee in 2003, after completing a degree in psychology and spending a year in Italy teaching English, she left in 2005 for a travel sabbatical to Latin America and SE Asia.
When she finally made it back to the UK she decided to experience life the other side of the mirror and spent six months client side.
It was a great insight into the process of commissioning and using research and heightened her commercial awareness. However, when she found herself trying to butt in on the moderator she realised that she really did belong on the other side of the mirror and returned to rdsi in 2007.
As a generalist researcher, Laura enjoys working across all sectors, and continually delights in discovering new and unexpected little worlds amongst consumer behaviour. However, having worked with a number of leading food manufacturers and retailers she has developed an expertise in the food and drinks market, one that she sees becoming more interesting as consumers and clients struggle to reconcile ever increasing choice and ever more conflicting issues around food.
